Elegant Software Engineering
We are currently Building the BitRewriter platform: an intuitive and powerful set of tools to gather, manipulate and simplify structured data. Two other smaller projects I've also built recently in the background:
1. Lonely Numbers: EuroMillions Edition : An analysis of players' number choices. Offering a set of the least popular number combinations that win bigger, as the fund at each price level is shared between fewer players.
2. Map Tabs Sync : A Chrome browser extension to synchronize pan and zoom between different maps. Currently supports Google Maps & OpenStreetMap.Some other work I've done in the last year:
HonQR : QR Codes with imbedded images.

Hugh McGuirk

I've worked professionally for over 20 years, from startups, and SMEs to large publically traded multinationals. In the last decade I transitioned from Senior to a Staff level, was a VP of Engineering in an SME, as well as Head of Server-side Development in a smaller startup.I've built financial trading applications, worked on sports betting solutions, as well as on various telecoms and government contracts. I'm typically found on backend systems, from designing Kubernetes services, on various cloud platforms, to payment systems, down to building trading algoritms or machine-level Assembler. After nearly four decades of coding, I have moved into entrepreneurship, now running my own software company - FoldStone.I live in Galway with my family, our dog, with the sea on our doorstep.
